Christmas homework

CHRISTMAS HOMEWORK

I know it's Christmas time and you are on holiday, but you have to do some homework: write a composition, do the reading comprehension activities worksheet and study for the irregular exams.

COMPOSITION.
You have to describe a house, it can be your house or a house you like. You can describe a flat, a cottage, an stately house... any kind of houses.

Follow these instructions:
  • write one paragraph describing a house: is it big? small? where is it? how many rooms has it got?
  • write another paragraph describing a room: which room is it? is it big? which furniture has it got?
  • Write a third paragraph giving you opinion about the house: do you like it? why? why not?
  • Use the vocabulary studied in unit 2: parts of the house and furniture.
  • Use there is and there are.
  • Don't use a translator. If you need a dictionary you can use wordreference.com.
It's very important that you do this composition because it's part of your writing mark.

I hope you are enjoying you holiday.

Merry Christmas and happy new year!

Your English teacher.
